Farm City Festival

Farm City Festival

Biennial Event
November 21, 2020
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Liberty Park, 286 N. Apopka Avenue

As the nation prepares to give thanks this November, the City of Inverness invites the community to attend the Farm City Festival to take stock in the significance that local agriculture plays in our quality of life, and in the availability of nutritious and safe food. In addition to raising awareness, this event will provide a venue for families to have a hands-on experience with local farmers and farmers market vendors.  There will also be demonstrations such as whip cracking and butter churning.

National Farm-City Week recognizes the contributions farmers make to both rural and urban centers and takes place the week leading into Thanksgiving. This event is made possible by the support of the Hernando-Citrus Farm Bureau, Agricultural Alliance of Citrus County, M& B Dairy and our local farmers.

Covid 19 notes: please stay home if you do not feel well. Social distancing in effect. Restrooms available for frequent hand washing. Please wear a mask.
